Flower seed paper cards for beautiful no waste gifts! Vintage style botanical cards that are printed on paper that has been embedded with flower seeds. The recipient can keep the card as a memento or plant it in their flower garden! This listing is for my special day series with six special occasion designs. The cards were designed using vintage artwork. This set includes both masculine and feminine designs. Included are cards for Mother's Day, Father's Day, Birthdays x 2, Thank You, and a botanical design without any words that can be used for any occasion!

The cards are blank inside so they can be used for any gift occasion or simply as a notecard. You will receive all six cards. Each card measures 4.25 x 5.5 inches and comes with a kraft style envelope. You can give as a sustainable gift that the recipient can plant in their garden. You can also use the cards for junk journal ephemera, use in your own garden journal, or use as a thank you note. These are just some ideas of how you can use these beautiful cards. When you are finished with them, you can plant them to grow an assortment of flowers!

I fell in love with the flower seed paper when I first saw it and knew I wanted to use it in my crafts. 

The back of the cards have planting instructions so the recipient will know what to do with them.
The cards are printed on medium weight (60lb.) lokta paper which is made from the Daphne bush, plant combined with recycled paper scraps. It is embedded with an assortment of flower seeds. The paper is not as stiff or as heavy as regular cardstock paper. There are variations with each piece so each card is unique. I print the cards on my home printer and hand cut them so there are many imperfections and demonstrate that handmade characteristic.

The 9th picture shows examples of some of the flower seeds in the paper. These are not actual pictures of flowers grown from the paper. They are just show for effect. I cannot guarantee any growth of flowers because there are variations in climate, care etc.

Flower seeds embedded in the paper are: Petunia, Daisy, Thyme, Poppy, Snapdragon, Beardtongue, Maiden Pinks, Chamomile and Catchfly. Seeds need four hours of direct sunlight and should be watered daily until established. Can be planted in pots or directly in the ground.
